Minoh Falls.
The park’s official guide describes a trail of about 2.8 km from Minoh Station to the falls. Allow time for the return, wear suitable shoes and check the park’s current trail notices.
The story behind this place
One traditional explanation connects Minoh’s name with a mi, a basket once used to separate grain from chaff. The waterfall was thought to resemble the basket’s front. This is an explanation passed down locally, rather than a certain account of the name’s origin.
