You can explore DO OSAKA and save a route without creating an account. Guide registration is currently closed.
Account information
Existing account credentials are managed by Amazon Cognito. DO OSAKA does not receive a readable copy of passwords. Previously submitted account data may be retained; contact the operator to request deletion.
Other services
Maps load tiles from OpenStreetMap. YouTube embeds load when you choose to play a video. These services receive connection information such as your IP address and may apply their own privacy policies. Official Viator and Klook booking widgets and the Trip.com tours-and-tickets banner load when you approach them on the page. These providers receive connection information and may use cookies or similar technology under their own privacy policies. Their cards display provider-supplied prices and ratings. Affiliate and other external links take you to third-party services.
My Route
Your selected stops, personal notes and visited markers are stored in this browser, not in an AWS traveler account. Clearing browser data can remove them. Download a backup to keep a copy or transfer it to another device. Opening a route map requests tiles from OpenStreetMap; opening Directions sends the selected stop coordinates to Google Maps.
Public ratings and reviews
Publishing a review sends your rating, optional text and posting time to our AWS service. They are displayed publicly as Visitor. We store a hashed browser editing key so that you can update or delete your own review; we do not publish this key. Clearing browser storage removes your ability to edit it from that browser. Contact the operator for removal help. Route notes remain private in your browser. Personal stops that are not listed in Places keep their ratings locally.
Contact enquiries
Our contact form sends your name, reply email if supplied, subject and message privately to the operator through AWS email notifications. Messages are not published. We use them to handle the enquiry and retain them in the receiving mailbox only as needed for follow-up. Short-lived sending counters help limit spam; the website does not store an enquiry database. No automatic reply is sent.
Storage and choices
Sign-in uses browser storage for authentication tokens. DO OSAKA does not add a separate advertising analytics service. Embedded booking providers may perform their own measurement. Blocking third-party scripts still lets you use the accompanying booking links. You can ask the operator to delete your existing account and associated drafts. Account data is kept while needed to operate the account, unless deletion is requested or retention is required.
