Start with your destination

Namba / southern Osaka

Compare Nankai Rapi:t and Airport Express. Nankai Namba and JR Namba are different stations; check the walk or transfer to your hotel.

Tennoji / Osaka / Shin-Osaka / Kyoto

Compare HARUKA with ordinary JR services. Kyoto Station is not the same destination as the Kawaramachi or Gion hotel areas. Compare the complete journey.

A hotel near an airport-bus stop

A bus may avoid transfers with luggage. Match the actual stop, terminal and operating time to your flight and hotel.

Before you buy

Do you already hold a pass covering this journey? Check base fare, Limited Express charges, reserved seats, visitor eligibility and the exact redemption method. A QR voucher is not always a boarding ticket.

Ordinary trains: pay the fare

Compare Nankai Airport Express and JR Kansai Airport Rapid when a reserved seat is not essential. They are ordinary train journeys, not sightseeing passes. Check transfers, destination and luggage space.

ICOCA: everyday fares

A rechargeable payment card, not unlimited travel. If you already have Suica or another interoperable IC card, check whether it covers your journeys before buying another. HARUKA and Rapi:t need the appropriate additional tickets.
